How many tabs is too many? Overload, and when did I change directions?

So, I am sitting here working on my blog, most call it “researching”, and I happen to look up and realize how many open tabs I have in my browser. (yes those are all really sites I was looking at) What can I say I am a tab-aholic.
One of the things I realized is that I am not actualy working to improve any my blogs. What started out as good intentioned niche site research has turned into twitting, stumbling, emailing, chatting, etc. While I love to socialize with all of you I also need to learn to stay focused. It is something I strugle with every day and with so many good discractions out there it can be a very danting task.
Time manaagement is not easy and if you are just starting out in the blogging scene then I would sugguest that is one of the first things you focus on. At first you may not really need this because you will be all excited to get started and get your blog off the ground, but as you go on you need to set aside a certain amount of time and give yourself a goal during this timeframe. After you complete this task then you can go enjoy your sammich with Normal Joe!
Seriously though Normal Joe is one of best that I know about scheduling his time and has done many post on this very issue. Looks like I need to go read them again.
But I think the important thing is realizing that you could be doing more with your time. Once you realize this you are already halfway there.
